Day 0: My developer journey starts here, again.💀
It has been a very long time since I had a blog. This time I intend to stick with it as a way to track my progress as a software developer.
I have so many things I want to tackle that I am noting them here. My goal is to be at an intermediate level of proficiency in these topics below:
- Data Science and Statistics for Machine Learning (Something I have been dreading because of the math involved) [OpenIntro Statistics 4, Data Science with Python from Scratch]
- Combinatorics [A Walkthrough Combinatorics]
- Actual Machine Learning and A.I. [Machine Learning for Absolute Beginners]
- C programming (for library/framework creation) [K&R C Programming]
- Arduino and Hardware programming, possibly [Book Required]
- Electronics😠[Book Required]
- Physics modelling for video game development [Physics Modelling for Game Programmers]
- Video Game programming (Something I have put off for so long) [Book Required]
- Procedural Content Generation for Video Game Programming [Procedural Content Generation in Games]
- Computer Graphics 👀 [Computer Graphics with OpenGL (4th ed.),Real-Time Rendering, Third Edition, Essential Mathematics for Games and Interactive Applications]
- Assembly👽 [Assembly Language: Step by Step]
I just want to put out some good projects I can be proud of without quitting half way through. Some of the many projects I have dropped in the past was my own basic 2D game engine I was writing in C (using SDL)
Edit: I added computer graphics to the mix above, why not?
Edit 2: added Assembly because I hate myself.
Edit 3: added book titles as reference.
